The Chicago Bulls are off to another dreadful start at 5-17. Here are five holiday wishes for an injury-riddled, floundering franchise.

Training camp began with high hopes and big aspirations. A painful start to the 2018-19 season has the Chicago Bulls limping toward the holidays.

So far, the Bulls have played the entire season without star young forward Lauri Markkanen and swingman Denzel Valentine. Impending restricted free agent Bobby Portis, who was hoping to capitalize on a big year, has missed all but four games and point guard Kris Dunn has suited up for just one contest.

As a result, the season has been a disaster for the Bulls. They’ve lost 17 of their first 22 games and it’s been a train wreck start to the season. The roster has been a mash unit thus far. Despite the onslaught of injuries, the franchise has to keep moving forward. Thankfully for Chicago, the holidays are upon us.

For Bulls Nation, this means it’s time to write out a wish list for the squad and check it twice to see if they can maybe find something good to cheer for in the new year.
