Markelle Fultz has reportedly expressed interest in a change of scenery and the Cleveland Cavaliers may be a potential landing spot.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are in the middle of a rebuild. Stacking up young talent and promising prospects should be a huge goal for the franchise. Markelle Fultz of the Philadelphia 76ers could become the next piece of the puzzle for the Cavaliers.

Fultz was the first overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. He showed great talent in college as a slashing playmaker that could consistently knock down jump shots. After a wild rookie year filled with controversy and injuries, the days of Fultz being a dominant point guard seem long gone.

It was recently reported by The Athletic that Fultz would enjoy a fresh start with a new franchise. Perhaps a change of scenery could benefit Fultz during his path to recovery. Furthermore, according to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the 76ers no longer see him as being part of their long-term future.

According to Sam Amico of Amico Hoops, the Cavaliers have already expressed their interest in obtaining the former No. 1 overall pick. Here are three reasons as to why the Cavaliers should be pursuing a trade to bring Fultz to Cleveland.
