Scoring prowess

As a collective unit, the Los Angeles Clippers are sixth in offensive rating at 112.3 and score an average of 117.6 points per contest, ranking third overall. This teams has players of every caliber and some specialize in certain areas, but virtually everyone on this team can score the basketball.

Four players average over 15 points per contest (Tobias Harris, Lou Williams, Danilo Gallinari and Montrezl Harrell) while three of those four average over 18 (all but Harrell). Furthermore, the Clips are shooting 47.2 percent from the field as a team and a whopping 38.3 percent from beyond the arc, ranking them at eighth and fourth in the league in each respective category.

Tobias Harris and Lou Williams were some of the best scorers in the league last season and have both maintained their prowess while adding Danilo Gallinari to the mix. Each one can score from anywhere on the court and this trio has been the main source of offensive production quite consistently.

However, players like the aforementioned Montrezl Harrell or even Boban Marjanovic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander have proven their offensive abilities as well. Harrell is currently averaging an extremely effective 15.9 points in just 25.3 minutes per game without any starts and has recorded 15 or more points in exactly half of their 18 games.

Marjanovic has been given over 15 minutes per contest in five games thus far and has averaged 13.2 points over that span, while Gilgeous-Alexander has provided 15 or more points in five games as well, averaging 10.4 per game for the season in fairly limited minutes.

While there isn’t necessarily an elite scorer average-wise, everyone on this team can score at a pretty high level.
