The Boston Celtics have gotten off to an underwhelming 10-9 start. While fans struggle to find reasons for optimism in the early going, there are still plenty of things to be thankful for.

It may seem nearly impossible to comprehend that the pre-season Eastern Conference favorite Boston Celtics are heading into Thanksgiving Weekend a middling 10-9 on the season. To an extent, is is impossible to comprehend.

A team with the depth of wings and Kyrie Irving should not be getting off to these types of struggles, and yet, here we are.

It can also be difficult to find reasons to be thankful during a stretch of games as underwhelming as the first month of the season has been for the Celtics. However, there is always a silver lining, and the Celtics are no different.

Plenty of teams have gotten off too less-than-stellar starts, while plenty of others have exceeded expectations.

The Golden State Warriors weren’t hoping to start the season at fourth place in the West with a 13-7 record, and nobody thought the Los Angeles Clippers would be leading the Western conference.

Here are three reasons to give thanks to the Boston Celtics while doing your Black Friday shopping this weekend.
