5. Jaren Jackson Jr., Memphis Grizzlies

Last week: N/A

Jaren Jackson Jr. finds himself back in the top five ranks after he’s seemingly found his way with the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizz have gone 4-0 in the last week and Jackson is averaging 15.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 1.5 steals per contest across the same span.

Jackson exploded for a season-high 27 points on 11-of-16 shooting from the field in a 112-104 victory over the Sacramento Kings last Friday. He also recorded six rebounds, four steals and two blocks.

He’s starting to figure things out on the offensive end, but staying out of foul trouble will be key for him as the season progresses. He’s fouled out of just one of his appearances this season and Memphis would like to keep it that way.

JJJ is slowly figuring out his role in the starting lineup, as they’ve posted a 12-5 record and sit first atop the Western Conference. If Jackson continues to excel along with his team, don’t be surprised to start hearing more buzz around his name.
