3. Emotional stability

My goodness, what a week. Throughout the dynasty, this is the only time Golden State resembled a clan of middle school girls. It had to happen sometime, didn’t it?

Seriously, the Warriors’ chemistry was almost getting eerie. In this beef-obsessed NBA where somebody’s always upset with somebody, the Dubs have mostly steered clear of this, despite their heightened media coverage. This accomplishment is much harder than it sounds.

The feat speaks to their championship makeup. This level of cohesion throughout four straight Finals appearances cannot be oversold.

The Warriors’ inner-strength stems from the top. It’s not surprising to see the conflict occurred when Steph was away from the team. Curry rarely fires frustration toward teammates. He’s calm, confident, swaggy and chill. Golden State could have used this relaxed attitude last week.

Not to worry, Warriors fans. Steph comes back soon, and his calming influence will rejoin the squad on the court when he does. In the meantime, the Dubs just need to try and keep it together.
