Tier 4: Cap-filler players

Matthew DellavedovaSterling Brown, D.J. Wilson, Christian Wood

Matthew Dellavedova has struggled to earn minutes on the floor, playing in just seven games this season and scoring 11 total points all year. Despite being a veteran. Delly has the worst contract on the team, as he is set to earn nearly $10 million this year and next. Moving it for any type of positive value would be a major success for Bucks general manager Jon Horst.

The other younger players that are found on this tier are simply not good enough to get minutes on a contending team like Milwaukee. Fortunately, unlike Dellavedova, they are not earning anywhere near as much guaranteed money. At 22-23 years old, there is still hope for each of them to develop into contributing players, but they will likely not get the opportunity to do so on this team.

If the Bucks find a trade suitor, it makes sense to include players like this to relieve themselves of any unnecessary salary, since they are about $16 million over the salary cap and quickly approaching the tax level.
