3. Rodney Hood

While Rodney Hood has certainly played a role in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ early struggles, he has elevated his game enough recently to get himself on this list.

Coming into the season, Hood was expected to be one of the Cavs’ most consistent scorers. After starting off the first eight games of the season by shooting just 42.6 percent from the field and 27.3 percent from the 3-point line, many began to become worried about Hood’s ability to score the ball.

Thankfully, Hood is starting to hit his shot. In the last five games, Hood is averaging 13.6 points on 58.3 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 50.0 percent shooting overall. He has connected on seven of his last 12 attempts from deep and is a perfect 15-for-15 from the free throw line.

His improved shooting helped the Cavaliers earn their second win of the season. Hood dropped 16 points en route to a 24-point win over the Charlotte Hornets.

If Hood can become the consistent scorer the team needs, Cleveland will start winning more games. Now, all we can hope is that he starts getting more looks, as he is currently attempting the fifth-most shots on the team.
