Despite the 2018-19 season still being young, here are the three best performers for the Orlando Magic so far as they continue trying to improve.

Although the 2018-19 NBA season is less than a month old, already it feels like the Orlando Magic have gone through the ups and downs of an entire season for a rebuilding team.

They slumped to the bottom of the standings, dropping as far as 2-6, before two much-needed wins pushed them back toward the chasing pack in the Eastern Conference. There is also reason to believe the wins could keep coming, which is a promising thought.

Some players have contributed to the moderate success Orlando has had so far this year. There have also been those who have been a hinderance to their growth more than anything else, and we will examine them more closely later in the week.

For now though, it’s time to take a look at three individuals who have excelled in their own ways for the Magic so far. Of course each player is graded differently depending on what their expectations are for the organization, which should be kept in mind.

The most promising takeaway from this entire exercise is that Orlando actually has three players who have performed up to, or even surpassed, their expectations. Given where they were less than a week ago, that in itself is a positive.
