3. 1996-2008 home jersey

The most successful period in Minnesota Timberwolves’ history also rocked the best look. The KG-led Wolves always had plenty of reliable role players during the playoff stretch that culminated in a trip to the Western Conference Finals in 2004. All-Star Game appearances by Sam Cassell and Wally Szczerbiak meant that there were reasons to buy multiple jerseys too (getting a Garnett jersey was a given).

Some people, such as ESPN’s Zach Lowe, don’t like the Christmas tree jerseys, as they are affectionately called, but the vast majority loved these jerseys, whether it was due to the years of winning, the hilariously 90s-esque font or the very Minnesotan pine trees decorating the collar and waistband.

In an NBA era where jerseys were becoming more expressive, the pine trees were awesome; adding anything to the waistband also upped this jersey’s overall aesthetic (hot take: waistbands aren’t utilized enough in most NBA jerseys).

While I never liked the overlaying TM logo that looks like a weird sword on the left leg, these are the best home jerseys the Timberwolves have ever worn.
