With several teams around the league seemingly in a state of disrepair, here are three prime trade targets the Philadelphia 76ers should consider acquiring.

The 2018-19 NBA season may only be a few weeks old, but several teams are already showing signs of serious hemorrhaging.

Leading the way are the Cleveland Cavaliers, who after a 0-6 start decided to fire their head coach, Tyronn Lue. Not far behind are the Washington Wizards, who despite having reached the postseason in four of the past five seasons, find themselves at 1-6.

Then there’s the Minnesota Timberwolves, whose season more or less blew up before it began, with the well documented trade demands from Jimmy Butler occurring just weeks before the start of the season. While he still remains with the team, it’s widely expected that Butler will be dealt sooner rather than later.

Which brings us to the Philadelphia 76ers, who themselves have gotten off to a shaky start with a 5-4 record. While it’s only early days, the potential to shake up the roster and make a deal certainly cannot be discounted.

On a recent episode of The Woj Pod with Adrian Wojanorowski and Brian Windhorst of ESPN, the subject of Butler being dealt was discussed, and the possibility that the Sixers entered race for his services. During the episode, Windhorst noted:

"“Philly, they have cap space next summer, but they’re going to have to compete with the Lakers and the Clippers and the Knicks….they may see going after Jimmy Butler as their move, and they may see having to go after him sooner rather than waiting till the summer.”"

Furthermore, Wojnarowski added:

"“I think they’re going to be heard from again, I mean they had been in touch with Minnesota….I’m confident Philly’s going to be heard from again. It gets down to what are you willing to give to give up for him. If you’re Philly….you’re not getting Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson or Kawhi Leonard….you take an honest long look at it and there’s a way for us to get Butler.”"

While Butler remains a target for a number of teams, there are also a number other players who could be possibly be acquired if the price is right.

With this in mind, here are three potential trade targets the Sixers should consider.
