After another week of the 2018-19 NBA season, the rookies have once again put on a show. Here’s a look at this week’s Rookie of the Year power rankings.

The Rookie of the Year race is heating up as the season gets rolling into November. There were some big performances from the new blood against some of the tougher opponents across the league this week. Dallas Mavericks forward Luka Doncic has put the league on notice with a 31-point performance against the San Antonio Spurs. It’s fitting it comes a week after Atlanta Hawks rookie Trae Young put up 35 points and 10 assists.

Doncic isn’t the only one putting on a show, either. Phoenix Suns rookie big man Deandre Ayton has put on some stat-sheet stuffing performances of his own to raise his profile a bit. The Suns are still winless after winning their season opener against the Mavs, but Ayton remains their biggest asset, especially with Devin Booker out with a hamstring injury.

There is one newcomer to this week’s rankings, but that’s not to say there aren’t other rookies turning heads. One rookie that’s come into a good situation is Milwaukee Bucks guard Donte DiVincenzo. DiVincenzo is averaging 8.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game for the 7-1 Bucks off the bench. He’ll be a player to keep an eye on for a Eastern Conference contender. He’s just one talented rookie of many, so here’s a look at the Week 3 Rookie of the Year power rankings.
