Overview of November schedule

  • 15 games
  • 8 home matchups
  • 7 games against squads .500 or better
  • 10 contests against 2017-18 playoff teams
  • 1 set of back-to-back games (Nov. 23-24)
  • Longest road trip: 3 out-of-town contests over 5 days (Nov. 17-21)
  • Longest homestand: 4 home games over 7 days (Nov. 9-15)

October was a Nuggets-friendly schedule, featuring four home games and multiple sub-.500 opponents. November provides tougher competition, most of which takes place on the Pepsi Center hardwood. Several “gimme” games also stand out, both home and away. This will test Denver’s maturity. Can they drop weaker squads with greater ease in 2018-19?

Denver faces a tough three-game road trip in mid-November. The Nuggets play in New Orleans, Milwaukee and Minnesota. This follows a four-game homestand, featuring a mixed bag of competition ranging from the Boston Celtics to the Atlanta Hawks.

Fortunately, Denver is playing solid ball at this time. There will be several tests, and likely a few losses. Nonetheless, it isn’t crazy to project optimistically for November. Let’s walk through game-by-game predictions.
