2. Garrett Temple is a force to be reckoned with

Garrett Temple came over in a trade that saw Ben McLemore and Deyonta Davis head to Sacramento. Since joining the Grizzlies, Temple has been immediately inserted into the starting lineup, which has led to impressive results.

The veteran shooting guard is averaging 13.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 29.4 minutes per contest. Most recently, his performance against the Atlanta Hawks in which he scored 30 points set the tone for the season.

The Grizzlies acquired veterans while they slowly get younger and this move is proving to be the best one they made in the offseason. Temple is a solid, experienced player who gives Memphis a formidable skill-set at the 2.
