The Memphis Grizzlies currently have a 4-2 record after the first two weeks of the 2018-19 NBA season. Here’s what stood out most so far.

Before this 2018-19 season began there were many questions to be answered for this Memphis Grizzlies team.

How would they look with a completely healthy roster? Would anyone be traded before the season started? Was Jaren Jackson Jr. the future of Grind City? Fans will be happy to know that after the first two weeks of the Grizzlies’ new season, two of those questions have been answered.

This team looks solid as Mike Conley Jr. is leading the charge, averaging 19.0 points, 6.0 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 30.6 minutes per contest. He looks to be completely healed from the injury that sidelined him in 2017-18. Chandler Parsons has returned to the lineup and although he hasn’t played at his best, it’s encouraging to see him on the court. Parsons is averaging 5.7 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 15.3 minutes per contest.

Before the season began the Grizzlies traded for shooting guard Garrett Temple, who was a member of the Sacramento Kings. Temple has become a threat and has been showing his worth each game he plays. His stellar play has even landed him in the starting lineup.

Although it’s only been six games, this team has shown enough it will be making big strides over the course of the season. Here are three takeaways from the first two weeks of the 2018-19 campaign.
