2. Improve their 3-point shooting

The Sixers are shooting 35.3 percent this season from 3-point range as a team. On the road though, they are shooting 29.1 percent from behind the arc. Despite attempting more 3-point shots on the road (34.3 per game), they’ve been off the mark and then some this season.

The biggest player that could use improvement is Dario Saric. Saric is shooting just 19 percent from behind the arc through their three road contests on the season. He’s still putting up 11.7 points per game in road games, but he’s certainly a lot better than that. He’ll need to find his mojo against a tough Raptors squad. In doing so, he could find himself well above his current average.

J.J. Redick is shooting just 35.5 percent, but it could have more to do with volume than anything else. As the saying goes, “shooters shoot.” Redick is attempting 10.3 3-pointers per game on the road and 8.0 at home. With an increase in shots, he’ll need to be slightly more efficient, although he’s still shooting 40.9 percent from behind the arc on the season.

He’s adjusting to coming off the bench but he could be better off passing to others like Markelle Fultz. Fultz is averaging just one 3-pointer per game on the road. Finding him for open opportunities could do him some good for building his confidence.
