3. Getting the most out of the young guys

Kevin Knox was having a solid start in the 2018-19 season before he went down. Though most Knicks fans seem to be disappointed in his performances, especially after seeing him outplay everyone in NBA Summer League, Knox bounced back from a lackluster debut in his second game.

Even though he is currently out with a sprained ankle, he is dealing with a kind of injury that shouldn’t keep him sidelined for too long. As a result, we are anticipating Knox to be back and running with the team shortly.

On the other hand, Frank Ntilikina has shown signs of improvement up to this point. His scoring averages seem to be heading up and most importantly, so are the shooting percentages that were horrendous throughout his rookie season.

Tanking would be the best way to make sure those guys acclimate to the NBA’s style of play as fast as possible. If more talented players are added to the team via trade or if Porzingis comes back, their chances and minutes on the floor would be far more limited.
