4. Dario Saric

There is something wrong with 76ers forward Dario Saric. In the first five games of this year, his shooting statistics are down across the board.

Per Game Table
Season Age Tm Pos G GS FG% 3P% eFG% PTS
2017-18 23 PHI PF 78 73 .453 .393 .541 14.6
2018-19 24 PHI PF 5 5 .373 .265 .449 12.2
Career 164 114 .430 .351 .502 13.7

But it’s more than that. He just doesn’t look right. His defense is lacking and at the end of the game he looks tired.

Dario Saric played a lot of basketball since last season and its showing. Over the summer, Saric stared on the Croatian national team in the FIBA World Cup. The team plays a grueling schedule into late September.

The Homie clearly loves playing for his homeland, but he has contractual obligations to the 76ers. If the world games are too much for Saric, Philadelphia should either ban or restrict his involvement.

In the meantime, the 76ers need to rest Saric more during the game. He is out of gas late in the fourth quarter and hurting the team.
