Cleveland Cavaliers: Evaluating Collin Sexton so far

Collin Sexton is the centerpiece to the Cleveland Cavaliers’ rebuilding process. Here is an evaluation of his play through the first two games of the season.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are hoping they struck gold when they drafted Collin Sexton with the eighth pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Sexton showed great promise in his freshman year with Alabama and is already turning heads with his blazing speed and defense.
Just like any rookie taken in high in the draft, Sexton has had a significant amount of pressure on him. He is expected to grow into the face of the franchise and the entire city is counting on his development.
While he certainly isn’t afraid of the challenge, it’s clear he has a ton of room to improve still. His first two games have been great examples of how drastically different the NBA will be compared to anything else Sexton has experienced.
There have been both positives and negatives to Sexton’s first two NBA games. He’s displayed a wide array of highs and lows, so it’s time to look over the positives and negatives to his game so far.
