5. Average double-figure points

We will start slow with the goals for Knox, as this should be the most attainable goal for the former Wildcat. Knox enters the NBA as a reputation as a scorer, so pouring in double-digit points per game should come naturally.

Knox has a diverse offensive game, as he can score in a multitude of ways. His athleticism makes him a dangerous finisher in the open court, but he is tough to contain in the half-court as well. Standing 6’9”, he is difficult to defend one-on-one given his skill-set.

Knox should receive plenty of playing time at both forward spots. Small forwards are too small to contain him in the mid-range game. When he shifts over to power forward, there aren’t many players that can match him athletically. You can be sure that head coach David Fizdale will scheme ways for Knox to get his shots in areas of the court he is comfortable.

Given the injury to Kristaps Porzingis, the Knicks will need players to step up offensively. Enes Kanter and Tim Hardaway Jr. will carry a lot of the load, so the opportunity is there for Knox to score the ball. He wasn’t picked ninth overall to sit on the bench.
