The Cleveland Cavaliers kicked off the 2018-19 NBA season with a loss to the Toronto Raptors. This game was a learning experience in many ways. Despite it being only one game, there are definitely some things this team should be looking to fix.

The Cavs weren’t horrible by any means. They fought hard against a team that is clearly better than them. Even after they fell down 20 points in the third quarter, they crawled back to cut it under 10 in the fourth.

This type of grit and persistent effort will prove to be crucial for the Cavs. It is for sure one of the many reasons this first loss shouldn’t worry fans too much.

Still, this squad has a lot of room to grown. As a team that is in the middle of a rebuilding process, pointing out the areas that need improvement and working on them is extremely important. Here are three things that the Cavaliers could be doing better.
