The Cleveland Cavaliers have officially kicked off their much anticipated 2018-19 NBA season, but they shouldn’t be too upset over opening night loss.

The Cleveland Cavaliers opened up their 2018-19 season on the road against the Toronto Raptors Wednesday night. While the Raptors ended up winning the battle, 116-104, the Cavs have a few reasons to feel optimistic.

Coming into the season, a flurry of questions surrounded the Cavaliers. There was no telling how the franchise would respond to the loss of LeBron James, who had been the heart and soul of the team for the past five seasons. The impact of his departure was sure to be felt.
