With the 2018-19 NBA season about to begin, the New York Knicks still have some questions to answer in order to compete in the East.

The New York Knicks are starting off their 2018-19 season at home against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night. Even though the team does have some quite talented guys, not everything is set yet for the season to kick off.

In the 2018 NBA Draft, the Knicks seem to have drafted pretty well for a change. Both Kevin Knox and Mitchell Robinson look like very promising young players that could be a part of the team in the coming years.

Obviously, the team is currently lacking a true star and a leader on the court in Kristaps Porzingis. Porzingis is still out with a torn ACL injury which occurred in February and kept him out of action for the remaining two months of the 2017-18 season.

With players like Trey Burke, Frank Ntilikina, Enes Kanter and a rookie in Knox, there is no telling as to what the team’s goals would be. Adding to the mix the fact that the team is currently under a brand new head coach in David Fizdale would make things even more unpredictable.

Bearing this in mind, here are three questions not even diehard Knicks fans can answer yet as we approach the tip-off of the 2018-19 season.
