1. Dallas becomes the next Lob City

DeAndre Jordan was known for one thing in his tenure with the Los Angeles Clippers: finishing earth-shattering alley-oops. His many victims include Brandon Knight, Greg Monroe and a once young and innocent Rudy Gobert.

His dunks have the ability to energize a team and shift the momentum of a game if done right, and this has been seen early in Mavs preseason action. His role as a trailer allows him to easily dunk down missed shots over unsuspecting opponents.

Dennis Smith Jr., who competed in the 2018 Slam Dunk Contest, Dwight Powell and rookie Kostas Antetokounmpo have also showcased their ability to throw it down. The young Mavs are fast and athletic, something Dallas has been lacking in years past.

The main reason Jordan was able to establish himself as a dominant dunker was because he has Chris Paul as his point guard. With capable lobbers in DSJ, Doncic and J.J. Barea, Jordan and company will benefit around the rim.
