2. Become the indisputable leader

If the highly anticipated Jimmy Butler trade ends up happening, the Timberwolves will be in need of a new leader on the floor.

Jimmy’s loud, he’s experienced and he’s the best player on the team. If he’s around, he should be the leader. However, he probably won’t be around during the season, which means that the Wolves need someone to step up and fill his shoes.

Will it be Andrew Wiggins? It’s too soon to give up on Wiggins, but he doesn’t have the mentality of an alpha dog. What about Taj Gibson? Sure, he’s a natural leader, but it would be nice if the Wolves’ new leader could be someone that’s going to be in a Minnesota uniform for a lengthy amount of time.

In all reality, it needs to be KAT.

If/when Butler goes, Towns will be the best player on the team and he’ll probably be on the floor more than anyone else. Similar to Wiggins, Towns isn’t a natural alpha dog, but every good team needs to have one.
