The Indiana Pacers are coming off a strong season, but the roster is far from complete. Here are three players they should consider trading for in 2018-19.

Following the Paul George trade to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Indiana Pacers were supposed to be NBA bottom-dwellers. Nobody, however, expected Victor Oladipo to emerge into a top-15 player, and Domantas Sabonis to play an important bench role.

Coached by Nate McMillan, the Pacers ended the season as the 5-seed in the Eastern Conference with a 48-34 record. They almost knocked off the LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round as they took them to seven games in the playoffs.

Now, the Pacers are heading into an important season. Not many improvements to the roster have been made, and they’re still not in the top-tier in the East. Adding Tyreke Evans, Doug McDermott, Kyle O’Quinn and Aaron Holiday this offseason may not be enough to move the needle a great deal.

Here are three players the Pacers should consider trading for if they want to assert themselves at the top of the conference.
