3. Who is this team outside LeBron James?

Being teammates with LeBron James comes with a lot of perks. His IQ and passing get you open looks, while his work ethic and leadership constantly push those around him to strive for greatness.

That list has its disadvantages, with one being the lack of creativity and individuality one is allowed to have next to LeBron due to the four-time MVP’s’ constant — albeit completely warranted — domination of the basketball, forcing others to play off him more often than not.

Now, with the ball likely to be spread around a bit more, certain guys will have opportunities they’re no longer accustomed to, including an increase in shots and more playmaking responsibilities.

Changing roles is difficult no matter the cause or player. For these Cavaliers, attempting to split up a king-size portion of the offense sounds like a fun challenge in theory, but also one that may prove too difficult to handle, especially for the players that struggled to produce when James was present.
