Besides from the obvious title quest, the Golden State Warriors have plenty they can look to accomplish as motivation for the approaching season.

Another year, another season in which the Golden State Warriors are favored to once again claim the NBA championship.

So much winning certainly never hurt anybody, but after a while, it can become repetitive and possibly even boring, leaving a team like the Warriors desperate for new challenges in order to re-ignite the spark that once drove them.

Despite the identical title odds from years past, this season brings with it a few new wrinkles to Golden State’s story, giving fans and media alike new angles with which to dissect and analyze all the live long day. It’s not just about winning it all. It’s about supplementing new parts in order to make the run distinctive from years past.

Having said that, nothing is guaranteed for the Dubs, leaving open the idea that maybe things won’t turn out the way everyone has already seemed to predetermine, which is where the beautiful game of guessing and predicting comes into play.
