Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson dropped 20 points, shooting 8-of-18 from the field and 4-of-9 from 3-point range. He posted five rebounds, three assists and one turnover in 27 minutes.

After a sluggish first half, Thompson scored 15 points in the third quarter, including three makes from deep. He came out like gangbusters after halftime, scoring 12 points in the quarter’s opening five minutes.

Thompson managed to avoid the turnover bug that bit Steph and KD. Klay’s third quarter burst was a treat for Las Vegas fans. His hot streaks may prove to be Golden State’s best cheat code in 2018-19.

Ideally, Thompson doesn’t ebb and flow like he did tonight. He should impact more than just one quarter. Overall, he shot the ball well and played smart basketball. His grade reflects a solid game, but leaves room for a more consistent impact.
