4. One more season of Zach Randolph

One of the most interesting players to watch in the NBA is under contract with the Kings for one more season, which should be an enjoyable vintage show similar to what the team got out of Vince Carter in 2017-18.

Randolph is a dinosaur who keeps plugging away at 37 years old, still getting buckets and grabbing boards in a league that was supposed to have passed him by with its recent emphasis on speed, small-ball and switching everything on defense.

The old-school big man is supposed to be a thing of the past, but Z-Bo managed to average 14.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game last season while being as old-school as it gets with his slow-moving, ground-bound game. (Disclaimer: Z-Bo is my favorite player in the league, if you couldn’t tell.)

The Kings brought Randolph in last season to serve as a mentor to their young bigs and play some quality minutes off the bench, but he ended up being the team’s leading scorer and second-leading rebounder.

This season will be Randolph’s 18th in the league, and possibly his last one. Or he could continue playing like this for another 10 years and still put up double-doubles when he’s 47. Just make sure you catch Z-Bo in action before he’s gone. At his speed, he’ll be easy enough to follow.
