5. What will the post-LeBron Cavs look like?

Sometimes there is silver lining in loss. Individuals or teams learn about their makeup. Fortitude is tested and leaders emerge.

Losing LeBron James is about as crippling of a blow as a sports franchise can receive. Cavs fans know. This is the second time it’s happened to them.

The last time James left town, Cleveland went 19-63 the following year, but things are different this time around. Antawn Jamison, 34 at the time, was the team’s captain in 2010-11. He led the squad with 18.3 points per game. J.J. Hickson might have been their most formidable player.

The current roster is peppered with potential while returning a five-time All-Star in Kevin Love. There is some excitement in the unknown, guessing which players will step forward. It’s time for a new journey. This time fans don’t need to excessively sweat over winning a title with one now in the trophy case.

Cavaliers fans get to witness rebirth, again, with less pressure this time. Thankfully there is talent on the roster to be excited about.
