Predictions
Now, it’s time to deliver some final predictions for the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2018-19 season.
Let’s begin with Kevin Love. I believe Love will start in the All-Star game and put up big numbers. He will average 20-plus points and 12-plus rebounds once again. If he does that, he could become a member of the All-NBA Team.
Collin Sexton will have a great year and prove to be an elite defender. He can average around 15 points and his playmaking ability could help him rack up to six or more assists a night. He will be in the running for the Rookie of the Year award and maybe even win it.
Rodney Hood will look much better as a Cavalier this season than last year. He will be more comfortable in this situation and will thrive as one of the team’s best scorers.
Cedi Osman will emerge as a fan favorite and have some notable games. He can display his ability to have an all-around impact on the game and play big minutes for Cleveland this season.
The Cavaliers will finish the season with a 43-39 record and find themselves in the 2019 NBA Playoffs. They will be the 8-seed and will likely lose their first round series in 4-5 games. Overall, the season will be deemed a success and a sign that the team is moving in the right direction.
