After being struck down by an injury in 2017-18, Kristaps Porzingis will look to bounce back and return even stronger for the New York Knicks.

Back in February when Kristaps Porzingis suffered his ACL injury, the chances that the New York Knicks would make the playoffs suddenly faded away.

Porzingis was and still is without a doubt the best player on the roster, with nobody even threatening him for that spot. As a result, losing him made matters even worse than they already were.

During the 48 games he appeared in, Kristaps averaged 22.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game, all in 32.4 minutes of playing time. With the Unicorn slowly making the case for being one of the best players in the Eastern Conference, Knicks fans finally had something to cheer about.

But then, the injury happened. A torn ACL is a pretty common basketball injury, but most times players are able to bounce back after spending approximately one season off the court, something vital in order to receive the necessary treatment.

As a result, Kristaps Porzingis will keep climbing up the staircase to become a true superstar once he returns to action after a complete recovery. Since no official date has been announced for his return, all we can do is predict blindly.

Bearing all this in mind, here are three goals Knicks star Kristaps Porzingis should be looking to accomplish during the 2018-19 NBA season.
