Much like the franchise as a whole, these Los Angeles Lakers players figure to exceed all expectations during the upcoming 2018-19 NBA season.

The Los Angeles Lakers are going to have a lot of critics during the 2018-19 NBA campaign. The hope is that they can silence them by season’s end, but the questions will continue to rain down on this franchise until they secure a spot in the playoffs. Even then, that may not be enough.

Either way, a number of Lakers players will undoubtedly send the skeptics home with their tail between their legs. In the coming months, at least a few of Los Angeles’ more underrated or overlooked assets will set the record straight and put the rest of the league on notice.

So who are these expectation busters? Which Lakers players are going to take the collective apprehension toward their talents and toss it in the trash where it belongs? As it so happens, there are a few folks who seem to fall into this category.

Without further ado, here are the three Lakers players primed to exceed expectations during the upcoming campaign. LeBron James may be getting all the love now, but these three will deserve plenty of it when the Lake Show is booking its first trip to the postseason since 2013 in April.
