2. Domantas Sabonis

Victor Oladipo earned most of the attention when it came to the ramifications of the Paul George deal, and rightfully so, but not many realize just how productive another member of that deal, Domantas Sabonis, played last season.

In just 24.5 minutes a night, Sabonis put up 11.6 points and 7.7 rebounds per game last season, mixing a solid inside-out game with a high-energy motor.

After moving around quite a bit in his short career, getting traded on draft night and then once again two summers ago, Sabonis seems to have found some stability with his blend of toughness and finesse that translates extremely well to the court.

Barring a trade of starting power forward Thaddeus Young, Sabonis won’t be fully unleashed this season, but after consistent production last season, he’s sure to see an increase in minutes. Considering the steady improvement he’s shown, that will probably mean an uptick in production as well.
