Indiana Pacers: 3 candidates for a breakout season in 2018-19

After a surprising playoff appearance last season, the Indiana Pacers and a few of their specific players, will look to take another leap forward this year.

Optimism is abuzz in the Hoosier State after the Indiana Pacers piled up an unexpected 48 wins and came within one game of the conference semifinals in 2018.

Following a summer that saw the organization add a trio of solid role players, what Indiana can accomplish under a different set of expectations will play a part in the Eastern Conference playoff picture.

The beauty of the Pacers’ roster is that despite their terrific play, they are by no means a finished product. Quite a few players, in fact, are capable of producing so much more than what previous numbers suggest.

There really isn’t any way to tell whether or not said players will reach their full potential. It’s simply one of those things they have to want, but if they do, there’s no telling how it could affect the Pacers’ title chances. Here’s a look at three players that could break out in 2018-19.
