Klay Thompson:

Mr. Thompson — have yourself a night! Klay scored 30 points in under 23 minutes, shooting a red-hot 10-of-15 from the field. He dropped 19 points in the first quarter alone, treating Seattle patrons to a live highlight-reel.

Thompson knocked down 6-of-10 3-pointers, including five in the first quarter. He shredded Buddy Hield‘s under-the-screen defense, making him pay early and often. Sacramento is sure to rethink its defensive game plan for November’s rematch.

Klay tallied four boards, three assists and a steal — not bad for 23 minutes. He committed zero turnovers and hit 4-of-5 from the charity stripe.

The offensive game was on-point for Thompson. He shot the ball well, and scored from everywhere on the court. His grade reflects a fantastic game — a stat-line containing hardly a blemish.
