1. They want to play fast

The most obvious thing about watching this game is that the Cavaliers want to play with pace. Getting the ball up the floor is going to be a key component of their game. A fast-paced play style is what they are aiming for.

This is evident when examining certain plays from a few of the Cavs point guards. For example, George Hill pulled up for a 3-pointer early in the first half. This is something that we would not expect from Hill, but in this high-octane system Tyronn Lue has implemented, he feels comfortable pulling that shot.

Another key example is how Collin Sexton was playing. Sexton was constantly using his speed to fly up the court and initiate the offense quickly. There were also numerous plays where Sexton would pass the ball to players already in front of him to start the offensive set as soon as possible.

With an average age of 26.9 across the roster, this team should be able to run all season long. The depth and mixture of young and old talent will keep them fresh throughout the course of the year. Expect to see the Cavaliers near the top of the leaderboards for fast break points this season.
