The New York Knicks head into the 2018-19 NBA season with a new breath of fresh air. Here’s our season preview for their upcoming campaign.

The New York Knicks, despite some unfortunate circumstances, have an upbeat feeling heading into the 2018-19 NBA season.

The new brain trust of David Fizdale as head coach, Scott Perry as general manager and Steve Mills as president of basketball operations has fans feeling good for the first time in a long time. Saying things have changed is one thing; showing they’ve changed is another.

For the time being, it looks like things may have actually changed. The group has developed a plan and is sticking to it. For Knicks fans, this is a step in the right direction after the Phil Jackson debacle. Prior to that, it was a lot of shortsighted moves that dug a deeper hole for the organization. This offseason, that mantra changed.

New York has its full allotment of draft picks going forward. Only one-year deals were handed out in free agency as the Knicks look to clean up their salary cap situation. There have been some roster changes, creating some interesting storylines for the team. Depending on the luck the team has, things could go very well or very poorly.

How will they fare this season? We will take a look at that, and much more, in our 2018-19 NBA season preview for the New York Knicks.
