1. Go deep in the playoffs

The Thunder should have a bad taste in their mouths after they were booted out of the first round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs in six games.

This is especially true when they consider what could have been. The team was known for rising to the occasion when they faced better teams. Who knows what would have happened had they gone deeper in the playoffs?

The Thunder beat teams like the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets in the regular season, but never got a chance to face them in the playoffs.

The team is built like the Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook era with George replacing Durant. The Thunder have more depth to support their two stars now, and should be looking to go back to what worked in the past. If they are successful, a deep playoff run should be in their sights.
