1. Aim for 30 wins

This young team has to start somewhere and since most of the team is still intact from last year, setting a 30-win goal shouldn’t be all that crazy.

The Hawks should have even more production from John Collins as a full-time starter this year and they boosted their frontcourt by shipping off Muscala and bringing in Alex Len and Omari Spellman to help their frontcourt even more.

Despite questions at point guard, Jeremy Lin should inject a lot of life into the team as well as the arena, and Trae Young will light it up from downtown sooner than later. Young and Lin should be able to replace, and likely combine to exceed Schroder’s production easily.

At the wings, they still have Taurean Prince starting and Kent Bazemore, for now. There may be some new faces, but it’s not impossible for this team to improve upon their 24 wins from last year. Vegas set the over/under for the Hawks at 23.5 wins, the lowest in the league. This team should be able to get over that line and get close to 30 wins in 2018-19.
