Kevin Durant

Like Curry, Durant raced to a strong start. The birthday boy buried eight points within the first eight minutes of play. He finished with 16 points, four rebounds and three assists in 19 minutes (NBA).

Shooting-wise, Durant’s efficiency was phenomenal. He drilled 6-of-9 from the field, and 2-of-3 from deep. He even sunk both free throws (NBA). Playing on a team of Golden State’s caliber, efficiency is vital to the championship path. KD showcased plenty of it tonight.

Like other starters, Durant played about 19 minutes. His shot-selection was spectacular, sinking two-thirds of attempts is swell. In a home loss, however, this performance lacked its necessary volume. KD scored well below his average, and Golden State needed more from him.
