2. Malik Beasley

Another guard on the Nuggets’ roster, Malik Beasley’s name has been in more than one trade rumor in his career with the team. Beasley has been included in several predicted deals for not only small upgrades but also for longshot upgrades like Butler and Kevin Love in his rookie season.

Under team control for at least this year and the next, Beasley’s trade value is higher than most tradable assets on the Nuggets. Though they have made Harris and Murray unavailable in talks, the Nuggets have long been thought to view Beasley as expendable.

Along with their pair of upcoming stars, the Nuggets also possess both Thomas and Monte Morris, who figure to see similar time to Beasley and shrink his minutes to accommodate.

Just short of his 22nd birthday, Beasley has shown flashes when given minutes for the Nuggets, playing in 84 games in his two years in the Mile High City. Used off the bench his entire career, Beasley offers a team a young guard with double-digit scoring capabilities as shown in his time in the G League where he scored 18.9 points per game for the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

Along with the scoring, Beasley put up 7.6 boards and 1.0 steals per game.

In any proposed deal, Beasley can serve as a sweetener with upside for a prospective team, with the ability to significantly grow if given minutes. In either a superstar deal or a cap-saving deal, Beasley can be equal, if not better, to a draft pick with a low salary to match.
