10. Tobias Harris, Los Angeles Clippers

It sounds odd to include a guy who just averaged a career-high 18.6 points per game on a list of breakout candidates, but Tobias Harris has been on an upward trajectory for the last few years — despite a couple of loop de loops thrown his way by unstable situations with the Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons.

After averaging 19.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per game on 41.4 percent 3-point shooting in his 32 appearances with the Los Angeles Clippers, Harris made it clear he’s a good fit on a team in need of offensive weapons outside of Lou Williams.

Could he be bait in a potential trade for Jimmy Butler? Possibly. But whether it’s in L.A., Minnesota or somewhere else, the 26-year-old Harris is poised for his best season yet, filling in a gaping hole on the wing in a contract year. If he can sustain that 3-point shooting and reach the 20 points per game plateau, he’ll be more than deserving of his spot on this list.
