The Hoops Habit Podcast is back with another episode in the summer review series by looking at the Southwest Division of the Western Conference.

Michael Dugger of Hoops Habit returns with another episode of the Hoops Habit Podcast, beginning the reviews of the Western Conference teams starting with the Southwest Division.

We begin with the Houston Rockets (1:35) and how they retooled their roster in hopes of another deep playoff run. The main talking point revolves around swapping Trevor Ariza for Carmelo Anthony as a starter along the wing.

Next, Dugger takes a look at the New Orleans Pelicans (7:35) and how their weird roster fits around Anthony Davis. Can enough players step up for the Brow to lead them back to the postseason?

After the Pelicans comes the San Antonio Spurs (12:05). Dugger has them as a lock for playoff spot, and a League Pass favorite with an infusion of athleticism into their backcourt.

The conversation heads back to Texas to discuss the Dallas Mavericks (18:37) where everything begins and ends with their rookie guard, Luka Doncic.

The Southwest Division Preview ends with the Memphis Grizzlies (25:45). If Mike Conley Jr. and Marc Gasol are healthy, there are enough pieces around them to make the playoffs and be a tough postseason out.
