2. Upset victories

While it’s hard to predict whether or not any of these will actually happen, the Clippers definitely proved last season that they were capable of beating some of the best teams in the league. On a team with a scorching hot Lou Williams that becomes near impossible to guard, expect at least one of these games to happen.

The Clips were able to take down teams like the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets and Boston Celtics with most of their stars healthy, most memorably taking down a Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson-less Warriors team despite a 40-point-effort from Kevin Durant on Jan. 10.

Similar to teams like the Indiana Pacers, the Clippers often serve as a sleeper team and shock some of the best teams in the league on any given night. Lou Williams is coming off of a near All-Star caliber season as a first option scorer and projects to do the same this year with an equally impressive Tobias Harris backing him up.

Injuries are impossible to fully predict and the same goes for upset wins, but keep an eye out for another potential 50-point game from Lou Williams or another complete team effort to take down a team like the Rockets.
