3. Instant impact from rookies

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jerome Robinson are projected to be great fits for the Clippers as it currently stands. Gilgeous-Alexander fills the dire need of a primary playmaker and also brings solid scoring and defensive abilities to a team with some established talent.

Jerome Robinson is one of the best scorers in the draft and will add some depth to the roster. While he’ll likely end up as a reserve with fairly average playing time due to role competition, he’ll have time to adjust and will be mentored by one of the best pure scorers in the game in Lou Williams.

As with any team that is able to obtain lottery picks, the performance of rookies is always an exciting idea. While neither are projected to be All-Stars any time too soon, they are probably going to be high-level contributors for the roster for the foreseeable future.
