The future of the Los Angeles Clippers continues to be anything but clear. While there is still uncertainty, most future scenarios are expected to be good for the team overall.

It hasn’t necessarily been easy to be a fan of the Los Angeles Clippers for the past decade, to say the very least. Competing for attention with the Los Angeles Lakers and the likes of Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, and now LeBron James throughout the 21st century always proves to be a daunting, and often losing, effort.

Despite challenges, the Lob City era Clippers proved to the city of Los Angeles that they can be a successful and consistent force with the right pieces in play. While it’s unclear how soon the team can return to that state, it’s definitely an exciting time to be a fan of the Clips for a multitude of reasons.

With that in mind, here are five reasons to be excited for the upcoming 2018-19 NBA season.
