1. Guide Rockets to an NBA championship

Since coming into the league a decade ago, Chris Paul has accomplished just about everything that could be asked of him within the game of basketball.

The 2006 Rookie of the Year has been selected as an All-Defensive First Team member seven times, made the All-NBA First Team four times, won Olympic gold medal and also took NBA All-Star Game MVP honors in 2013.

Now, the only thing that is left for the man who bears almost every individual honor in the game to play for is a championship. Finding a way to win the game’s ultimate prize could be exactly what Paul needs to fully exorcise the demons of postseasons past.

Although one could argue that Paul has become a beloved celebrity in the Space City over the past year, leading the Rockets to their first championship since 1995 would give the future Hall-of-Famer the chance to place himself among rare company and become a local hero to many across Houston and beyond.

Should he do so, then Paul would finally be able to cement his name among exclusive company, joining the likes of Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas and Jason Kidd as some of the game’s greatest point guards ever to capture the league’s most elusive crown.
