1. Kevin Love will be on the All-NBA team

It has been four full seasons since Kevin Love last made it to an All-NBA team. It was the 2013-14 season when Love was selected to the All-NBA second team. Love averaged 26.1 points and 12.5 rebounds to earn his spot on the team.

I expect to see Love average similar numbers this year. He will once again be the leader of a team and have full reign of the ball. Love has a chance to prove his is still an elite scorer and will be looking to ball out against every team.

One aspect of Love’s game that has become severely underrated is his playmaking ability. He has grown into a very good passer out of the post. This will be big for the Cavaliers as they move off the ball to get open looks. Don’t be surprised if Love averages a career-high in assists this season.

Let’s assume Love plays at an All-Star level all season. He puts up 20+ points and 12+ rebounds a game as he leads the Cavaliers to an above .500 record. All of these things combined should be enough to get him an All-NBA selection.

Most realistically, he would be a member of the All-NBA third team. There is too much young talent in the NBA for him to grab a spot much higher than that.
